Course Aims:
The course aims to give the participant an introduction into the Care sector.
What delegate will learn:
• Demonstrate an understanding of Mental Health
• Describe several learning disabilities
• Explain dementia and how it can be managed
• Demonstrate an understanding of the legislation POVA
• Demonstrate an understanding of the care commission and their role within the care sector.
Assessment Process
This will be overall and continuous assessment, against the course objectives including a written and practical assessment on the final day.
