A fantastic end to the year for ten Future Jobs Fund candidates in Fife who today completed the Fife Academy. KDS delivered this multi-sector Academy in conjunction with Fife Council in their new Renewables Centre in Kirkcaldy! With cross-skilling and multi-skilling the order of the day the candidates flourished under KDS winning training formula and 10 very different individuals left the centre today than entered it five weeks ago! Motivation and determination stayed high as we battled with the winter weather to continue running, all credit to the candidates for showing such a high level of engagement and communication!!
Regular conference calls from Stevie Kidd kept the momentum even higher and the buzz from the training room quickly spread through the rest of the building! Personal development, employability, First Aid, Health and Safety, Manual Handling, communication, Money Made Clear, Small Business Gateway, intensive team building, confidence building, Road Safety, Fire Safety, Mock Interviews and developing positive attitudes and positive mindsets is a snap shot of what we packed into the Academy!
As the Graduation, and the Year came to close the smiles, memories and learnings will continue to grow as 2011 will see these candidates make their mark in the world of work!
