Jobcentre staff were initially given a full overview of the course content and the requirements for acceptance per the open day.
Candidates that had shown an interest in securing a place were then interviewed.
The open day was then held on the 26th of January at Reid Kerr College in Paisley. Over 50 people attended the open day;including funders and the Jobcentre staff.
The day consisted of the the Full KDS Training Team presenting and supporting the main attraction of Stevie Kidd, Managing Director of the KDS Group and Master NLP practitioner and hypnotist.
After an electrifying presentation candidates were then invited back to the KDS Group training facilities for second stage interview.
30 interview were completed and 16 lucky candidate were selected for a place on the unique care sector Academy.
The Academy launched on the Monday 1st February 2010 with Stevie Kidd's “Who Am I”.
