Seven unique individuals graduated from there own personal KDS journeys today.
All seven individuals overcame challenges in their own lives, broke out of their comfort zones and pushed themselves to limits they never thought they could achieve. The Academy covered the Care sector specific elements including the Role of the Careworker, Introduction to Food Hygiene, Introduction to Infection Control, Health and Safety, Mental Capacity, Emergency First Aid, Moving of Objects and Assisting People and much more! Also covered were employability, mock interviews, Life Coaching and Personal Enhancement sessions and the Buddy Day, all of which has equipped the candidates with the necessary skills to achieve and sustain a job within the Care Sector!
There were tears, smiles and laughter from the Candidates and the staff at Triage in Alloa who all helped to make the Academy and the Graduation ceremony a success! Robyn and Fiona start employment on Monday, and the other 5 are awaiting start dates with companies locally! A huge success for the Magnificent Seven and the KDS Team!
