The first Training Academy successfully assisted 10 unemployed individuals in gaining employment within the Renfrewshire distribution sector.
We saw this as a massive achievement and it became apparent that the course had been far more than a training course; but a means of turning lives around and starting them on a path of building a career.
Since then, the sectors and regions have increased dramatically. Training Academies have now been launched in Angus / Dundee, Glasgow,
the Highlands,
North Ayrshire, North Lanarkshire
and
West Dunbartonshire.
